Not a Fash-E original post, I’m tired after a long day of work and night classes. I’ll promise to blog properly after the school/exam/Todd Solondz mayhem. Here’s a compilation from People about celebrities’ must-have items that they can’t stop wearing them:

JENNIFER MEYER NECKLACEFrom shopping in L. A. to the red carpet, the new mom pays homage to baby daughter Harlow with a Jennifer Meyer “H” initial necklace charm.

J BRAND JEANSThe High School Musical star has been wearing her silver-tinted 912 “Silverfox” J Brand jeans since last year for movie premieres and days out in L.A. and New York City.

BALLY JANA BAGFor shopping trips in New York and L.A., the mom-to-be is never without her chic patent chain-strap bag.

COACH PURSEMandy Moore totes her one-of-a-kind $8,000 alligator hobo everwhere, from nights out in N.Y.C. to casual days in Los Angeles.

Dottie Pouch & Ichiban Tabi

I haven’t been to Tokyo yet - I’ve marked it in my 2008 “must-go” travel diary. Thus, I decided to do a lil’ preliminary research on what Tokyo has in-store for me in October. TOKYOMADE is a one-stop e-store that supports Japanese indie designers, and “shoppers can check out what’s happening on the streets of Tokyo and pick up some of the hottest Tokyo must-haves..” I’ve to say, there are some hidden gems within several mouse-clicks. Go explore! You’ll be delighted to find something that you’ve never seen before.

Mystery Novel & Leon
(Photo: TOKYOMADE)
From toys to bags to kooky necklaces, TOKYOMADE has a variety of stylish treasures. I particularly dig Mystery Novel, it “has been handcrafted using fresh water pearls, white opal, swarovski crystals, vintage lace and an arm”. Yeah, an arm! It’s a “kitschy yet elegant necklace reminiscent of a 1950s murder mystery novel” - now that’s a story behind a design. On the flip side, Leon makes me laugh. Now, I can’t wait to go to Tokyo *fingers-crossed*

Don’t expect to protect yourself with Tiny Armour! It’s made for the chic, not for safety. Originating from Los Angeles, Angi Glenn started her knick-knack business out of her love and passion for pop-culture. If you’re a 70s or 80s baby, you’re going to dig her designs as her jewelry “reflect a sense of childhood innocence while honoring the rebellious spirit of unique fashion forward ’soldiers’”.

I’ll be happy to wear a lil’ nostalgia on my fingers. Pacman absolutely rocks!

Jewels Curnow: Two-tone Hook Bracelet
“Forged link sterling silver bracelet like the first one we did and this one has a two-tone finish. Alternate links are white frosted to bring up the fine silver to the surface and the other two are oxidized then the whole thing is hand burnished. Signed by Jewels Curnow.” (source: starsandinfinitedarkness.com)

The little Hilton sister, Nicky Hilton’s ‘Nicholai’ Fall 2008 fashion show captured alot of attention at the Mercedes-Benz 2008 LA Fashion Week - but kinda for the wrong reasons. Yes, eyes were on Paris Hilton and Benji Madden who ‘almost’ stole Nicky’s center stage. More importantly, how did Nicky fare as a designer? I think she has ’some’ substance
I like the black/white striped cardigan that is commercial and very wearable.

Nicky said in an interview with Fabsugar, “The inspiration this season was equestrian, but I wanted to make it a naughty and nice. It was equestrian meets bondage and S&M, hence the latex leggings, patent leather buckles, and the whip. I wanted it to be sophisticated, tasteful, and edgy at the same time.” Her collection teases the essence of “schoolgirl” naughty and yet, pretty classy. She didn’t do too bad, since her ‘Chick‘ collection last Spring.

If you’re wondering: The engraving says, “o romeo, do you remember the nightingalse? their songs seems to be love poems in the night, wake up with a little kiss for juliet - it’s time for love” Lovely, isn’t it? You can get it from Ring by Ring.

Rittenhouse: Autumn/Winter 07 (Photos: Rittenhouse)
My first impression about Rittenhouse is “oh, pretty basic”. I was fooled. The Australian-based high end casual label has a strong signature of “quiet detailing” that intrigues me. You’ll notice a “twisted seam here, secret pockets there- it is fast becoming the sort after label for ‘understated’ street dressing”. Its combination with “sophisticated graphics, beautiful fabrics and a strong focus on quality Australian manufacturing” is reflected in their unique aesthetics.

Currently, the label is not available in Singapore or Malaysia. But, you can get it in various parts of Australia, Tokyo, Shanghai and even Jakarta. Otherwise, you can purchase online from NewDandyism.
Who loves Project Runway Season 4? Isn’t the season like sooo amazing?
The suspense is finally O-V-E-R, and I know who won. I was sitting in bed with my boyfriend, perspiring all over his hands as Heidi announced the winner. And, I’m proud to say that my “favourite” won *eviiillleee laugh* Like, totally fierce. However, this has been quite a season! Definitely the toughest ever, I mean I honestly couldn’t predict the winner. I love all three finalists’ collections for different reasons. Here are my favourite looks from Bryant Park:

Project Runway Season 4 Finale: Jillian Lewis (Photos: BravoTV)
Jillian Lewis’s collection is flirty and girls, you know you love it. I honestly heart her collection. Despite its inconsistencies, I love each outfit on its own. Jillian’s style is very wearable, innovative and eccentrically cute.

Project Runway Season 4 Finale:Christian Siriano (Photos: BravoTV)
Christian Siriano is sooo fierce. I’ve been rooting for him since the beginning. At only a young age of 21, he’s a natural-born designer. Christian’s collection burst out dramatically and his ability to manipulate the color ‘black’ is amazing. His collection flows smoothly and every outfit is an eye-popper.

Project Runway Season 4 Finale: Rami Kashou (Photos: BravoTV)
Rami Kashou bounced back into the game after a gruelling match to compete for the final spot in the Project Runway finale. I’ve to say, his collection is prolly the most meticulous and well-made. You’re going to see Rami’s work at Hollywood’s red carpet because celebs are going to be knocking at his door!
