RAOUL is Singapore’s household name for elegant, contemporary smart-casual wear. This fashion success owed it to “an understanding of what makes people different and what makes them the same”. Mr Douglas Benjamin, CEO of FJ Benjamin Singapore said that, “This year for Fall 2008, we’ve got a really strong silhouette for ladies, very confident, with jackets and suits which we’ve never done before”. Of course, RAOUL is here to shine.
The Power Suit
Add a lil’ colour and jazz up the suit - RAOUL brings a new outlook on the power suit. You don’t have to wear boring black suits because it’s too predictable. Everyone likes to be surprise, right? So, give your colleagues something to gripe about while you look ultra-snazzy in the office. It’s all about feeling good.

One-Piece Wonder
We all love dresses (or at least I do). RAOUL’s effort to break its own stereotype by introducing more feminine, and casual pieces. These dresses are very high-fashion, something you don’t expect from the brand. And, did I tell you how much I heart those red & black laced-pumps?
Pencil Skirts & Colours
It’s the hottest and “it” wardrobe item this season. The pencil-skirt has made a comeback and it’s here to stay. Ladies, show off those curves and lean legs! Also, RAOUL introduced big, bold colours that really pops. These colourful tops have very interesting details and cut across the chest - which takes “boring” out of the officewear.

Shiny Shimmery
Yes, bring out more rich colours in strikingly elegant one-piece outfits. RAOUL aims to define the woman in you - smart, sassy, elegant and confident. It is no wonder why some of my friends are big fans of the brand. My friend (who works in a foreign bank, former G2000 member) made the transition to RAOUL from G2000 about a year ago. She said, “Everyone wears RAOUL in my office! I can’t be caught dead in a G2000” - note: This is just a personal encounter, no punt intended for G2000.
