Back to school *groans* I dragged myself to school after work and by the time I’m home, it’s 11pm. My blog posts are going to be a wee-late for the next couple of months. I was surfing Hint magazine and I was captivated by their ‘Streetniks’ fashion editorial that emphasizes on asymmetry and hoods. I love the usage of vintage cameras as props in this spread - here’s a sneak peek:
These Rick Owens coats are freakin’ amazing. I want them. The vintage Leica camera makes me wanna take photographs again - I miss developing films and looking through the viewfinder, and not LCD screen.
You only expect fabulous creations from Viktor & Rolf. And, this coat dress says it all. Shoes are from Celine, and tights from American Apparel.
This picture is my favourite. There’s something hauntingly beautiful about this Azzedine Alaia’s dress. That vintage camera is a Yashicamat. What a keeper.
Seeing double? Both dresses are from Sept & Imane Ayissi. Definitely more tastefully done than a hair commercial. You don’t get symmetry in the direction of the hair flying.
Now, for a kooky piece. This pop-up dress is by Felipe Oliveira Baptista that spells f-u-t-u-r-i-s-t-i-c-. Fashion forward? You decide.
