I spotted this dude and his friends walking at Sunshine Plaza last weekend. I noticed this thing swinging behind his bum and OMFG, it’s a raccoon tail! Or whatever it is.
Firstly, his red pants with crazy white bands hanging all over it – very very crazy and prolly the fugliest thing I’ve ever seen. Plus, why pin a raccoon tail to the back? It’s as though he can’t make the look any worse. I literally followed him with my camera phone and I was like “I’ve to blog this down!
Tell me about it. I don’t know whether to gasp, puke or laugh. In the end, I just think it’s funny that someone actually did that.
I think I can explain this. What this guy is trying to do is peacock. There is a theory that states if a male of the species can display a colorful or unusual appendage, such as the cumbersome feathers of a peacock, he is more likely to attract a female, mate with her and pass on his genes. The peacock who can display his plumage to a female has demonstrated his survivability because such a display can cause real problems in escaping a prey animal. This guy, by wearing the tail has opened himself up to all sorts of risks. But despite the tail he is still around to display it, so to a passing female the subconscious message could be, that guy is a high value male and I want to have sex with him.

I have a kid at my school like that. I believe it’s a part of the Cosplay fashion of this era.
