I just found out that we’ll be going camping for New Year’s Eve & New Year’s at Te Araroa in New Zealand. I don’t even know where the heck this place is – it seems like it is a trail. There are camping sites or holiday parks wher you can pitch your tent and party all night long (or I would like to think so). The funny thing is, I didn’t quite pack any camping gear. I haven’t camp since what 2001? I’m as good as a camping virgin. What do I wear and bring? Yikes.

I know it’s summer in NZ but Stella McCartney for Adidas running range seems very chic.

I need a windbreaker. NZ wind just gives me the chills.

Bright blue? I’m all for it! I think I might need to pack my shoes or Crocs!

A black & white “chi-chi” tent is awesome! My boy is prolly rolling his eyes now.

Prima Crocs are a must! I have these purple ones – judge me, whatever.
Well, my list is pretty short. I’m leaving the planning and packing to the boys.
I’ve been real spoilt.
This Christmas.
YAYYY!!!

Ray Ban Wayfarer in White. Only the original.
Awesomeness or what??

“Save My Pole” from the Miss Marc Goes Green collection. HEART IT!!
You’ve no idea how much I love penguins.

The black backpack from Agnes B Voyage. Someone read my Wish List!
Sorry, I can’t find the picture on the INTERNET – but I’ll take a picture of it one day.
I’ve been eyeing Karen Walker Eyewear since my last trip to NZ. They’re different, eccentric and full of awesomeness. This eyewear collection is by one of NZ’s best-known fashion designers as Karen Walker recreates the “Nicole Richie” look with over-sized sunnies. Her quirky style has brought this designer to new heights since showing her collection at Australia, London and New York’s Fashion Weeks. The Karen Walker Eyewear line of whimsical sunnies was launched in October 2005. No doube the collection was sold out in two weeks. Talk about funky sales!

For my foreign readers, Streetsnaps is Singapore’s answer to The Sartoralist and Face Hunter with a little local twist. It’s a collective of avid photographers who roam around the island looking for stylish individuals. As we know, Singapore is not exactly New York, London or Paris. I’ve lived here for eight years, and I think Singaporeans are unique in their quirky little way. This young nation is still seeking their own identity and style. Someone said, “Singapore’s today is when New York was yesterday”. I believe it could be true.

She makes dressing up in prints so effortless. Love the shoes & belt.

Love the mask and “sex, drugs rock & roll” necklace.

Fierce heels! This girl is really rocking Ferosha!

Lace tights!
How come I’ve never met these people?

Boxing Day Sale!
Bubster has been telling about these boxing day sales happening on 26th December. We’re going to hop to Auckland to check out some craazzzzy (well, so I heard) sale happening down town. I’ve got my shopping armour ready to beat those Kiwis – with my eight years of training in Orchard Road, just bring it on!
The NZ fashion scene hasn’t been looking all too good lately. Isaac Likes reported on the fire that broke out at Keith Matheson‘s warehouse which resulted in two stores to be shutdown. What a pity. I’ll prolly pop by the Newmarket store to show my support. Apparently, NZ Herald reported on the early Christmas sales before Boxing Day itself – yikes, am I too late?? Retailers got hit the hardest by the recession. Sigh, people should just keep spending for the sake of the economy.
Anyway, I should have some fun. Till later!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
This pug cracks me up. I’m spending Christmas with my boy’s family. It’ll be so much fun – gift exchange, Christmas crackers, good food and awesome company. What are you up to today? Whatever it is, enjoy yourself because I’m taking a Christmas break from blogging. No worries, I’ll be back
I know. I know. I’m bad at keeping my hair long. I’ll never get out of my bob. Seriously. I went to my regular hairstylist and asked for bangs – again. I ended up looking very China doll-like. I wanted this “chomped up” fringe – I don’t know if this suited me or not. It can be very edgy if I wear dark eye liner or striking makeup. I’m too lazy for that. I need a lazy haircut. Oh well, hair will grow.

Hoyu Professional gave me a complimentary haircut, colour, treatment whatever. I can’t wait. I’ve heard alot about Hoyu and all. I’m saving my appointment before Chinese New Year. I promise – new colour, new look. I hope it kicks ass!!

Firstly, Mischa Barton designed handbags. Now, she collaborated with Stacey Lapidus to create her own line of headbands. It seems like the hippie headband trend is not going anywhere – for now.

Simple, yet chic – Silk & Pearl Headband

Possibly my favourite, this is the Pearl & Crystal Cluster Beaded Headband

Very goddess-like – Gold Beaded Head Wrap

This is definitely going to get some attention. Large Sequin Flower On Silk Head Wrap

This is really pretty, don’t you think? Sequin Floral Scroll Head Wrap
