My Favourite Apps on BlackBerry Storm

It’s official. I’m a ‘crackberry’!

There are many applications you can download from the Application Center such as Flickr, Facebook, MySpace, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk and etc. Endless possibilities! You’re literally connected 24/7 on your favourite social networking sites.

My personal favourite is TwitterBerry.

I hardly Twitter until I got my hands on this BB Storm. It makes my bus ride to work – quite enjoyable. I update myself with my Friends Timeline while tweeting on my own page.

Next favourite is Facebook, doh!

I get to check my Facebook mail, status updates, events, return pokes and even add new friends. To be honest, I don’t even carry my laptop to bed anymore. The BB Storm is sufficient enough for me to do the basics: check email and Facebook.

Finally, BlackBerry Chat.

This is like SMS or MSN for BlackBerry users. As you can see above, Moe Moe (in UK) and I were chatting on BlackBerry Chat. She could even send me a photo of an English cottage! This only requires your data connection. You don’t have to pay for this service.

Cool or what? Hee. I’m such a convert. iPhone what?

To my dear lovely locks…

ADVERTORIAL:

Dear ‘lovely’ locks:

My deep, sincere apologies for colouring you this year with frequent touch ups. You know I don’t like damp hair so I have to use the hairdryer twice a day. Sometimes I use styling products because you never stay in place. I do enjoy a good swim – but I know you hate drinking chlorinated water. And, you always complain about that lousy hairbrush I got from Kuala Lumpur.

I know you are not feeling on top of the world right now – but hey, I found something pretty awesome:

Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner

Believe it or not, this is the first-ever Daily Treatment Conditioner from Dove. It is perfect for the lazy girl like me. I know I never had time to treat you well… and yes, you deserved better.

This is my everyday solution to all your problems. You don’t have to suffer any longer because you’re going to love Dove to bits because I do!

There are two types of Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner: Dry Therapy and Intense Damage Therapy.
Dry Therapy Treatment moisturises the driest parts of the hair surface, while Intense Damage Therapy Treatment fills in every small crack on the damaged cuticle. So far, I’m alternating both for maximum benefits!

You know what, I’m going to give you a total makeover! With the Dove Hair Therapy “Choose My Hairstyle” application, I am determined to find the perfect look for you.

Step 1: Take a clear picture of you (without the hair) using your webcam or upload a picture from your computer.

Step 2: Pick the hairstyle and colour on the left panel – this is the fun part!

Do you like it ultra short?

Or ultra-long? (omg!)

Step 3:
Confirm the chosen hairstyle and you can save it as an image or share it on Facebook or embed it on your blog! Simple as ABC.

Tell me how you feel. From the way you look, I can tell you’re feeling much better and livelier! At only $5.50, I’m sure all recessionitas can afford it – so can I. Love that bouncy feeling ☺

Love,
Me

Spotted: Karl Who?

Karl Who?

Now, don’t look so surprise Uncle Karl – because eco-canvas bag is not a crime. I first saw this on BB and I thought how incredibly funny this bag is! You could totally personalize your own – but it prolly won’t be so funny unless you’re famous and jaded. Bravo to Uncle Karl for poking fun at yourself :)

Look Book: Jumpsuits for Everyone

My colleague, Kart and I attended the Lasalle College of the Arts opening ceremony last night – it’s prolly the first time we were both ‘dressy’ at the same time. I don’t usually wear heels – but I did. In fact, I successfully wore heels to work twice in a row. Not bad eh? High heels for beginners… hahaha.

I love my jumpsuit from BYSI – it’s cheap laa especially with the discount! The label is known for ripping off designer’s… and you can also find ZARA or MNG replicas (in different colours) over there. Cool tip, hurr. I even saw ripped off Marc Jacobs dresses for a fraction of the price!

Alrighty, it’s midnight… I need my beauty zzz.

I Heart Nike Sportswear Spring/Summer 2009

Let’s go back to basics. Because Nike bringing you back to where it truly started: SPORTS. Nike Sportswear was launched in Fall 2008 with a product line that blends the best of Nike’s near four-decade long sports heritage with the latest design and technical innovations. There is nothing more intriguing than a good product – and I believe Nike constantly pushes its boundaries. Not to mention, I just got a pair of limited edition Nike shoes from the Wisma Atria flagship store.

This season, Nike Sportswear shows you where it truly belongs, where passion meets competition:

Purple is the new Black, really.

Can you see those beautiful colours?

I’m digging zebra prints!

This is sooo money.

Who’s this chick? I’m crushing on her.

I want a locker full of Nikes.

Ooh, nothing stands out like pink against black.

I wonder if Bubster will embrace yellow.

Opt for timeless white.

This is perfect for yoga. I’m still seeking for yoga classes/teachers. HELP!

If only I could draw like this…

I’m tempted to pick up my drawing pen again. It has been ages since I last drew.

Introducing… MUJI for Fitness and Yoga

I was at Marina Square today just before my pole class. I love popping by MUJI because of my fascination for all things Japanese and its simple design. I was thrilled to find MUJI‘s range of fitness clothing and items specially for yoga. They are definitely not the most affordable in town but I love the soft cotton material and yes, bra tops. I already have two of them from Uniqlo! They are the best. However, they don’t give you proper support so don’t go wearing it everyday – or you’ll end up with saggy boobs in no time. So let’s see what MUJI has in-stores for the fitness bunnies:

A simple yet functional sports bra. If you ask me, I think it is pretty chic.

This is the perfect shorts for pole dancing. I don’t think I saw it at Marina Square.

Bra tops. I simply love them. They are awesome for pole dancing and yoga.

Cute pink weights! I want!

Keep yourself warm after a good workout :)

These look super comfy for yoga. I would love to have a pair.

Red Carpet: More of Cannes Film Festival 2009

Yes, the list of best-dressed celebrities and models does not end yet. I just gawked at more stunning red carpet beauties via Fashionologie. I wish I’m in the South of France now, walking in my designer wear with my man hanging off my right arm. Dream on… hey, it’s FRIDAY! What are your weekend plans? I’m going to catch Angels & Demons tonight with my buddies. It’s mindless fun, I don’t mind. Otherwise, I’m shopping for a gym membership – so many options, so little time. Anyway, back to Cannes Film Festival 2009:

Eva Herzigova in Versace. Reminds me of Nicole Kidman, strangely.

Natasha Poly stood out in Roberto Cavalli.

Carine Roitfeld in Balmain – not a great photo of her, but I’m diggin’ her outfit.

Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman: Beauty and the Ball.

Devon Aoki in Roberto Cavalli. I love this colour!
