Isn’t this an awesome album cover? Let’s see: cracked nail polish and a heavily squished egg. Anyway, I’m a huge fan of Brooklyn band, Yeah Yeah Yeahs because their garage-rock revival music is pure orgasmic and awesome. I would DIE if they ever made it to our shores (I mean if Motley Crue made it, so it’s only a matter of time). I’m sooo jealous that Bubster has seen Karen O pulled some yoga poses during a gig in London – how cool is that? In this new album, “It’s Blitz” – the band is back with pop sounds , backbeats and disco-inspired tunes. I’ve to say ‘Zero’ is really catchy although I still think “Fever To Tell” is their best album to date. At some point, I feel like I’m listening to New Order instead of the original Yeah Yeah Yeahs – in a good way. You can totally dance with this album – because I’m practically dancing with my iPod

Karen O, lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is a total fash-icon. She’s one amazingly eccentric lady with a kooky sense of style. I have complete admiration for her as an individual and style maven. I love her signature bowler haircut – she rocks. My all-time girl crush. Here’s why:

Yeah, Karen O kicks ass – I started wearing red lipstick after listening to Yeah Yeah Yeahs – inspired by her. She’s really daring and some may call her crazy. But I totally heart her.
