I rarely get super duper starstruck but today, I met the one and only Maggie Cheung at Capella Singapore. For the first time, Maggie Cheung made her first appearance as Olay‘s ambassador to celebrate Olay‘s new philosophy “Challenge What’s Possible”. As Olay‘s ambassador since 2003, Maggie shared how Olay‘s philosophy relates to her own career, personal life and beauty. She talked about how she got braces because of her bunny teeth that got her comedic roles. After getting more “normal” teeth, she started getting more important roles such in films such as Wong Kar Wai‘s ‘As Tears Go By’ and ‘Centre Stage’ – which eventually led to her international recognition as an accomplished actress. These days, the actress focuses her time on philanthropy and became the first ambassador for UNICEF China to help children in need. Her beauty tip is to pick your favorite beauty products (also mix and match brands), do the things you love and don’t worry about a wrinkle! LOVE her wise words.
