My name is X-Wen and I’m a shopaholic. If online shopping is a crime, then I’m guilty as charged. Today, shopping knows no borders and free international shipping has become a norm. You can easily browse, zoom in, rotate, save it for later, add to your wish list, pay with ease and security with PayPal (or any other credit cards) and return your items for free if you’re not entirely satisfied. As I wait for my package to arrive from ASOS, let me share my Top 5 Favourite Online Stores which offer free international shipping to Singapore (because they are totally awesome!):
ASOS offers free standard international shipping within 11 days to Singapore regardless of how much you spend. I would highly suggest subscribing to ASOS style news so you get instant updates on SALE such as the one above (up to 70% off!). I could spend hours surfing ASOS and I adding items to my “save it for later” folder. The best thing is that you can pay via PayPal for secured and convenient payment. In short, this online store is highly dangerous for your pocket. You’ve been warned!
If you spend above US$100, you can enjoy free express international shipping to Singapore and you can expect your package in just 3 days*. Let’s admit it, Shopbop definitely won us over with its fast and reliable service – and great selection of fashion finds. I’m a big fan of their gorgeously curated editorial pieces and their newsletters always bring a smile to my face. Unfortunately, Shopbop doesn’t accept PayPal payments but you can pay via major credit cards. *may vary depending on the destination and customs
#3: Sole Struck
If I died and went to shoe heaven, that would be Solestruck. If you spend more than USD$199, you can enjoy free standard international shipping via USPS Priority International (United States Postal Service). Remember, the rule of thumb is not to spend over SGD400 (that includes shipping but you don’t have to worry here!) in order to avoid paying 7% GST upon delivery! Well, it happened to me once and it wasn’t funny at all. On the bright side, Solestruck accepts payment via PayPal. Hurrah!
Home to an eclectic mix of designer labels, REVOLVEclothing.com offers free international shipping with orders above USD$100. I believe that’s standard shipping but it’s not stated clearly on their Shipping Information page. REVOLVEclothing.com doesn’t accept PayPal but you can pay via major credit cards. No biggie!
#5: Lululemon HK
Earlier last week, Lululemon USA stopped international shipping (at a flat rate of USD30) to Singapore and Hong Kong (dammit). This is because of the newly launched Lululemon HK website which offers free international shipping to Singapore. Unfortunately, this website doesn’t stock much items and we are not a fan of the exorbitant prices! Seriously, $20 more for a top? You’ve gotta be kidding me! Let’s wait till the November 1st launch… I wonder if there will be a price revision and hopefully, more stocks. Lululemon accepts PayPal and other major credit cards.
