Hi guys, am back from Hong Kong. I was there for a shoot. Didn’t get to take much photos except when I went to this Louis Vuitton opening party which is supposedly the biggest and the most-anticipated party of the year (the newly-opened branch is the biggest in the world, outside of paris). Anyway, it was really grand, posh and exclusive, with loads of big stars attending. The one i saw and really like is Zhang Ziyi. Pretty. Here’re some photos.

This is the huge tent they built for the party.

The red carpet…

My first red carpet!!

Pretty monogram.

Performance by Kanye West.

Cheers… can u see that I’m drinking orange juice?

They serve really nice finger food.

All the waiters and waitresses have this badge on.
Recently, I have been thinking of getting a new iMac and while I was surfing the net randomly, guess what I had found!! A super, duper cool iMac lowkey stand!! Talk about signs and omens huh! haha

This stand is not only beautiful, it also helps in organizing your desktop, such as providing a “home” for Apple’s slim keyboard. Plus, it also features an elegantly integrated, self-powered 4-port front access USB 2.0 hub, providing you a convenient way to hook up your favourite toy or gadget.

I’m a sucker for ultra cool and chic furniture or household accessories. It has always been my dream to stay in my own bachelor loft, fully decorated with unique and cute pieces that will make anyone who visits my den (especially hot dates! *evil laughs*) go gaga. Here are some dream furniture and household pieces I had scouted over the net.

This orange rocking chair is a classic Eames vintage rocker made by the legendary Herman Miller. It’s rugged and cool at the same time. Great to be place in the balcony!

This lightweight and beautiful lamp is made from various layers of polyester, supplied with a cone-shaped plastic safety protector, which prevents the shade from coming into contact with the light bulb. Genius.

Cute, solid, silicone rubber doorstops. Much more macho than those high heel ones I saw in a shop the other day.

An innovative, simple and effective chopping board. Chop2Pot folds as you grip it. So all you have to do is to press the board flat to lock it into chopping position, chop, grip the handle and then just simply pour the ingredients. Easy peasy. Looks cool too, even if I can’t and will never cook!

Colourful vintage looking telephones. Makes you want to talk even longer. haha

An unique bathroom accessory with nine rubbery tentacles (so not really an octopus then) to hold shampoo or soap or whatever. A tenth tentacle is used to hang the Octopus from a tap, showerhead or hook. The tentacles stretch so, generally, there’s no need to even remove products from Octopus’ grip in order to use them.

A simple, cheap way to transform a room at a stroke. They work as screens, curtains or wall hangings. Your imagination is your only limitation.

We wowed when Steve Jobs introduced the first iPod Nano. We pray and hope religiously that iPhone will descend at our area soon. And just this morning, we celebrated the arrival of MacBook Air, the world’s thinnest notebook, pulled out of an envelope (literally!).
If you think that this MacBook Air is just a scaled-down version of their previous MacBook, think again. Weighing just 3 pounds, a remarkable 0.16 inches at its thinnest and merely 1.76 inches at its fattest, the MacBook Air packs a ton of cool features that its predecessor lacks. The new design not only includes a 13.3 inch widescreen display, it also uses LEDs that consume less power but yet still provide a sharp image. And don’t even think for a second that you might have to cram your fingers while typing because MacBook Air has a full-size, back-lit keyboard as well, perfect for staying productive in a dimly-lit plane or conference hall.
Among many other powerful new features like the remote disc, next wireless generation and Mac OS X Leopard etc, one of the coolest addition has to be the multifunctional trackpad. The new and improved trackpad adopts many of the innovative multi-touch gestures from the Apple iPhone, allowing users to pinch (increase or decrease text/photo size), swipe (three fingers gesture to scroll through multiple pages) and rotate photos.
So if one of your new year resolutions is to get thinner, the new MacBook Air could have you covered. For more information, check out Apple’s website at http://www.apple.com.
