I first discovered Gripp Jeans via Fashion is Spinach – and I immediately fell in love with this Aussie label! According to the website, the A/W 2009 Collection for Gripp Jeans is based on the idea of “goth chic” with inspiration from the “occult vampire movie “The Hunger” (1983), David Bowie’s Berlin Period and the insurgence of synthesized club sounds of Depeche Mode“. The collection has a strong sculptural pieces like corsets and tailored jackets with a feminine touch of lace. The dark colour palette brings out the mysterious, vampy element. Gripp Jeans is definitely a label to watch out for.

The rainy days are back! Thanks to our tropical Singapore weather. I got caught in the rain just the other day en route to work. I was wearing my jeans and ballet flats – they both got completely soaked! I was like “Where are my Plueys?”. I blogged about Plueys so many times: here, here, here, here and here. I’m such a fan! Unfortunately, I have only one pair, Lotsa Dots. I need more (sponsor me, pls!!!)… to match my other outfits. Have you checked out their new designs? Yes. It’s back-to-school, baby. This is my final semester – and it has to be an ‘intensive’ one as well. I don’t really care, because school is almost over. I can finally breathe ‘freedom’ again! I discovered Australian label, Smiggle in NZ recently and I love how all the stationary are colour coded. Best thing is the stuff are not expensive at all (like Paperchase, for example). So if you like pink, you can buy everything in pink – like totally nuts. I got a pink bookworm light, pencil case for my darling sister and a silver 2009 diary (for half price!). Here’s to all the stationary geeks out there:

Who wears Pajamas to bed? I do! In fact, I love shopping for them – the cuter, the better. I’m not too ‘hot’ for skimpy nightwear. Bring on the sheeps, cows, cupcakes and everything nice! I first discovered Peter Alexander in Auckland during my last trip. I regretted not buying any PJs the last time. So, I made an effort to pop by during the Boxing Day sale (30% off storewide) and I got myself two ultra-cute PJs! Unfortunately, the selection in stores were picked over many times by the time I get there. Do check out this Australian sleepwear label because you’re gonna enjoy sleeping so much more:
