It’s a wrap! My Rodial x Space and Light Studio‘s 30-day Yoga Bootcamp challenge has ended about a week ago. I’ve diligently attended classes at Space and Light Studios as well as used Rodial‘s Bodycare range including Rodial Size Zero, Rodial Tummy Tuck and Rodial Arm Sculpt for the past month. Are my arms sculpted? Do I have a tummy tuck? Am I a size zero now? We’ll soon find out. Thank to my yoga teacher, Christine – I would also like to share how you can work some yoga asanas to help you achieve tone arms, flatter abs, slimmer hips and stronger thighs. Of course, nothing comes without hard work.
Rodial Arm Sculpt 30-day Verdict: I have smooth, glowing upper arm skin! It’s true! Maybe it’s all in my head but my arm doesn’t jiggle as much as it used to. But I strongly believe all the hand stands and arm balances help in achieving stronger arms. I will definitely continue to use Rodial Arm Sculpt – for the extra skin benefits.
Hand Stands for Stronger Arms: It may look intimidating but trust me, everyone can do a hand stand with constant practice. First, come into a Downward Facing Dog. Then, walk your feet forward until your shoulders are above your wrists. Lift one leg up and push that leg strongly into your partner/yoga teacher’s hand. Use your core and strong arms to push down towards the floor – lift your other leg up and flex your toes. Bring your legs together, pull your rib cage in, take your thighs back and scoop your tailbone. Push strongly into your hands and up through your legs. HANDSTAND!
Downward Facing Dog for Stronger Arms: If Hand Stand seem a little far fetch for you, let’s start with the basics. Downward Facing Dog or Adho Mukha Svanasana may look simple but it’s actually hard work for beginners (if you do this pose properly). It’s important to have your palms shoulder width apart and feet inner hip width apart. Push your index knuckles down and claw the mat with your finger pads. Stretch your spine up and down. Push your heels strongly down towards the mat to stretch your hamstrings. Remember to BREATHE!
