I haven’t done any “Look Book” posts lately, have I? Today I wore my ultra-short Kate Moss for Topshop white chiffon cape dress. I bought this in London at the Topshop‘s new outlet at Knightsbridge back in May. Gosh, I miss London! So, I was fooling around with my “superhero” cape and a colleague helped me to take some photos with my Olympus EP-L1. I love showing off my cape – if only it helps me to fly high.

What’s Stradivarius? It’s the first time I’m hearing about the label as well. From the fashionable people who brought us ZARA, Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Pull & Bear, Stradivarius is a Spanish label which offers “a wide range of fashion for young people who crave an informal, funky look”. Finally, the label has landed in Singapore at ION Orchard (#B2-15). Fash-E was invited to its official launch fashion show on April’s Fool day. There were splashes of colours and prints on the runway. I even bought myself a cameo skirt with the complimentary $50 voucher given to the invited guests. Yay! Thanks a million ^_^

Rejoice, UNIQLO fans! On Dec 3rd, UNIQLO store will be opening their third and largest store in South East Asia at 313@Somerset. Better still, the much anticipated “ ” collection designed by Ms Jill Sander will be launched at the store on its opening day. Lucky for me, I was in HK last week to check out the collection in stores. I even managed to buy a pair of dark skinny jeans and purple pin stripe shirt from the “

Are you ready for a New Look? Fash-E was at ION Orchard for Style: Week 2009 and New Look paraded their latest Fall/Winter 2009 trends out on the catwalk. Let’s do some trendspotting: sequins, animal/vintage floral prints, bright-coloured tights, plaid, leather jacket and knitwear. You can’t go wrong in these style choices. I’ll let the pictures do the talking (it’s like 1am now, I need sleep!):

New York Couture is truly one-of-a-kind. The label is a “harmonious blend of punk-rock cool, ultra-glam and prima ballerina”. It translates every girl’s childhood (or rather dark) fantasies into their something wearable. You can expect to see limited edition or one-of-a-kind cotton skirts, tops and dresses. Unlike good TV shows, New York Couture don’t do repeats. So you’ll be proud to own your special piece and wear it proud. Big names such as Katy Perry, Pink, Agyness Deyn and Leelee Sobieski were seen in some of their designs. A little eccentricity doesn’t hurt right? I’m eyeing something from their collection… hmm.

Elizabeth and James, is the pet fashion line by the power-house twins, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen and they’ve just launched their Spring ’09 collection. Let me say, I am totally in looooove with what they have in store! If you like a hint of menswear, you’re going to be blown away. Elizabeth and James‘ neutral colors and feminine separates were shaken, not stirred with a little bit of playfulness. I’ve to say I’m intrigued and I want more.
I’ll stab you with my heels.

Oh, I’m such a huge fan of Thakoon. Michelle Obama wore a few of his designs to high-profile events – I mean, this is like the equivalent to like the Oscars. Now, Thakoon collaborates with Target Go International to design a set of limited edition collection which is definitely affordable for yours truly. How awesome is that? 17 more days before his collection hits the stores when it debut on Christmas Day! Watch the video of Thakoon explaining his inspiration for this collection – mix-n-mismatch prints and being bold.
