Patricia Field x Keith Haring
Famed SATC stylist, Patricia Field collaborated with the man who commercialized graffiti art, Keith Haring to create a line called Keith Haring for House of Field. Not the man himself, but his art. The late Keith Haring has worked with Madonna, Grace Jones, Bill T. Jones, William Burroughs, Timothy Leary, Jenny Holzer, Yoko Ono and Andy Warhol throughout his career. His works may be criticized and praised over the years – no doubt he has produced some of the iconic visual arts in the 20th century. I’m personally diggin’ the limited edition plastic magazine clutches as shown above. You may also want to check out the silk scarfs as shown below. Well, let’s add that to my Christmas wish-list.

Do I look like someone you know?
The Kaiser strikes again! This time, Karl Lagerfeld dressed SpongeBob SquarePants as the Kaiser himself. First, you can buy your Tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld - now, you’ve got the SpongeBob version. Kaiser has hit the jackpot in the toy industry! This special SpongeBob x Kaiser figurine “attracted the highest bid at a recent Paris fundraiser for WWF, generating 1,000 euros, or about $1,500 at current exchange”. It’s all in the name of charity

How I wish I’m in Hong Kong this weekend. Trust me, I don’t enjoy queuing but it would be nice to take a look at the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection. I’ve to admit that the collection is not ‘that’ affordable. Hey, it’s Jimmy Choo on a shoestring! What more can you ask for? I’m not hot about the clothes but I am digging those heels.

Here’s a peek at their advertising campaign – but then, you might already seen it. I’m in Penang right now for the weekend with Bubster and his parents. Yay! Good ol’ Malaysian food always makes me happy

Rejoice, UNIQLO fans! On Dec 3rd, UNIQLO store will be opening their third and largest store in South East Asia at 313@Somerset. Better still, the much anticipated “
” collection designed by Ms Jill Sander will be launched at the store on its opening day. Lucky for me, I was in HK last week to check out the collection in stores. I even managed to buy a pair of dark skinny jeans and purple pin stripe shirt from the “
” collection. Yay! If you want to preview the latest Spring 2010 UNIQLO collection, you can win an exclusive invitation to a very special fashion show on Dec 2nd HERE! It is probably their biggest fashion show to date at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore’s Grand Ballroom. I’m going to be there! ARE YOU?

I’ve been looking for a pair of dark denim and… I love this “
” skinny jeans (HKD$399)!

Here’s a closeup of the purple pin stripe shirt I bought for HKD$299.

Comme des Garçons x The Beatles
Has Rei Kawakubo bitten the poison apple? The new collaboration between Comme des Garçons x The Beatles may be an odd marriage but it is definitely worth exploring. I personally prefer structured bags for daily use, but this one is a strange puppy. I mean, what do you expect from Rei Kawakubo right? I like how the Apple Corps logo blends in with the signature polka dots. There is a no-leather policy (as you know, Sir Paul McCartney is a vegan himself)… hence, the 10 large-format items will be made in Japan from “embossed polyurethane or printed PVC and detailed with metal grommets, embossing and cords”.
To be launched on Nov 27, the prices ranges from around $115 for a T-shirt up to $860 for the most expensive bag. Pretty affordable, I must say. I can’t wait to see the entire collection – now, who wants to help me buy? *bambi eyes*

Fashionistas called it the ’supermodel’ of phones. I think it’s deliciously stylish. Fash-Eccentric! is invited to celebrate the official launch of LG’s new Chocolate phone in Hong Kong this Wednesday, 4 November. So tune in for my ‘live’ tweets and blogging from HK (along with Bagaholicboy and MyManyBags). Hot Taiwanese model, Lin Chi Ling and Nadya Hutagulang as well as the cast of the movie, Avatar are expected to be present at the event. Ooh, can you tell that I’m uber-excited? Before my iPhone, I used to own its predecessor when it was first launched – purely due to aesthetic reasons. Once again, the Chocolate phone is lookin’ really good, if not… better! Tune in for more fun fun fun!

HONG KONG, HERE I COME!

This is what happens when your favourite toy designer and fashion maestro collaborates: Tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld mini doll! I. REALLY. REALLY. WANT. IT. The Kaiser said he was flattered to be a Tokidoki. Creator of Tokidoki, Simone Legno has immortalized the designer in vinyl – 10 inches tall. Mini Karl comes decked out in a skinny black suit, rhinestone-studded tie and belt, and don’t-mess-with-me sunglasses – all from his K Karl Lagerfeld Collection. There will only be 1,000 figurines. According to WWD, Mini Karl will be priced at 129 euros, or about SGD$265 at Tokidoki flagships in New York, Milan and Los Angeles and select specialty stores for holiday retailing, with Colette getting the exclusive launch next month. Mini Karl will also appear on T-shirts in next spring’s K collection. I’m so psyched! However, I’m a little disappointed that Mini Karl won’t make it to Singapore – now, I need to find a way to get my hands on one of them! *brainstorm*

Christopher Kane for Topshop’s one-off collection finally hit the stores! Is it drool-worthy or not? I’m already booking the alligator T-shirt dress for myself. I’m not too sure about getting a sheer dress at that steep price (well, pretty steep for me at 125 pounds!). I think I read in the papers that the collection will hit Singapore in October. Oh please please please keep me inform!

Eyelets seems to be the key design element.

I heart the eyelet jacket. Not sure about the sheer dress!

Mesh or eyelet heels? Take your pick.

I like the one-shoulder dress. Doesn’t it reminds you of the Kate Moss collection?

GRRR! Alligator! I want!

Step away from black for a moment and embrace colours!

Look pretty and sweet in pastel.
