I Heart Timmy Woods ‘Eiffel Tower’ Clutch

(Photo: Fabsugar)

If you’re a Lulu Guinness fan, you’re going to love this. Timmy Woods is America’s answer to quirky designed accessories. As seen in the new Sex and the City Movie, Carrie Bradshaw is seen in this quintessential ‘Eiffel Tower’ clutch with crystals while snogging Mr. Big. OMG, the clutch is like the cutest ever! I kept hinting to my boy about the ‘birthday’ that’s coming very very soon. You can also purchase the non-crystal alternative from Nordstorm, which I personally think looks nicer than this one:

Short Film: United Nonsense-land

Yours truly is down with Mr. Sniffles. So, I decided to take a break from fashion blogging - at least for tonight.

I came across my friend, Shaun’s blog and his new short film - United Nonsense-land which made me laugh because it’s totally irrelevant and innovative. It’s prolly his best short film to-date. I know it’s not ‘fashion’ related but do check out the cool costumes and colourful characters (e.g. Georgette ‘Walkin’ Bush - get it?, Ghandi, Dr. M, The Chairman etc.) This short film debut in this year’s 21st Singapore International Film Festival and also Poetry Slam.

Here’s the synopsis: Harry fell in love with a girl called Singapore. She died. He then begins a journey through a place called United Nonsenseland. Now, enjoy the film:

Confessions of a Shopaholic: The Movie

I have a confession: I haven’t read any of Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series. I’ve seen the book displayed on shelves whenever I walk into Kinokuniya or Borders - strangely enough, I’ve never got the urge to pick it up or even borrow from the library. I remember Moe Moe saying Kinsella’s writing is too self-indulgent for her liking, so I guess I never got around to it. Anyway, everyone is talking about the new Sex and the City movie but what do we have to look forward to after May? It’s time to pick up that book and start reading, because I’ve till 2009 before the movie version of Confessions of a Shopaholic releases.

Here’s the first look of Isla Fisher playing Rebecca Bloomwood:

This is quite cute. I actually adore the colour palette of this outfit. Who can forget Isla’s memorable role in the Wedding Crashers? This is the woman who and made a baby with Borat, don’t you forget that.

I love the beret. I’m not sure about the styling, then again I haven’t read the book.

Err… what the heck is that? The circus is bursting in New York City!

‘27 Dresses’: Celebrity Bridesmaids

Katherine Heigl’s new romantic comedy 27 Dresses is opening this week! And, US Weekly has compiled a string a celebrity bridesmaid to celebrate the opening of the new chick flick.

Cameron in France

Cameron Diaz looking giggly at her friend’s nuptials in France. Her dress is very conservative but uber-sweet don’t you think?

Mrs Affleck in Lilac

Jennifer Garner looks amazing in this lilac gown at her assistant’s wedding. I’ve to say this

Katherine Heigl at Sister’s Wedding

Katherine Heigl has been a bridesmaid off-screen at her sister’s wedding. A little black dress: A bridesmaid’s dream.

Jessica: Pretty in Pink

Looking pretty in pink, Jessica Simpson looks elegant in her bridesmaid gown. I’ve to say this is really nice.

Cannes Fashion Festival!

I keed, I keed… Cannes Film Festival 2007 (60th anniversary) is finally upon us and the opening movie is My Blueberry Nights starring Jude Law, Norah Jones, Natalie Portman, Rachel Weiz and more. The movie is directed by Wong Kar Wai (his first English debut) and I bring you the highlights of the red carpet and the opening.

What a vision! Kerry Washington, Gong Li and Andie MacDowell all look so lovely. I love Kerry’s Jeweled one shoulder strap and Gong Li looks great in that shade of green and Andie is all grace.

Bai Ling - the Asian Paris Hilton? definitely makes a statement in a pink dress. However, the color is rather reminiscent of pepto bismol and does not suit her well. I’d love to see Bai Ling in a graceful dress that is sexy but not too over the top. I mean, I can dream, right?

Elisabeth Hurley is another one who loves to dress really sexy (remember her safety pin held dress by Versace?). But in this red number, on the red carpet, she looks stunning.

Diane Kruger - I’m guessing that she announced the movie as she is seen on stage with a mic here. She looks really demure and lovely in this white lace number with just the right amount of pink.

Juliette Binoche. Maybe it’s the angle but the dress makes Juliette look very erm, rectangular? Doesn’t show off her curves at all.

Jude Law and Norah Jones look really good together on the carpet. I wonder if that will translate into on screen chemistry. Are the flash bulbs that bright that Jude has to wear sunglasses? Nice classic Ray Bans by the way.

Maggie Cheung - I can’t see the whole dress in this picture but the top half does not look good. But so good to see Maggie - she is a great actress.

Minnie Driver - Simple elegance!

Jude Law, Norah Jones, Wong Kar Wai and I’m guessing his wife.

Look how cute this picture is. The director is so happy and although his wife’s suit is nothing to scream about, look at how she is looking at him, all full of pride and joy. Altogether now - awwwwwwwww……
