Fash-E! Gone Shopping in KL

(Photo: Gone Shopping)

Fash-E! is taking a break (long weekend, woohoo!) to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Yes, it’s my reward for finishing a gruelling exam and long month of March. And, reviving Fash-E! again… haha. Anyway, you can find this “gone shopping” plush from this Canadian website, called ‘Gone Shopping’. How apt hurr? I’m still debating whether to bring my mac along - maybe not… see you in a couple of days!

Cave by Sakura Adachi

Sakura Adachi: Cave

In urban life, there seems to be a common understanding that people tend to consciously or subconsciously become wary of strangers surrounding them. They are always balancing a certain level of privacy with others. A bookcase CAVE provides a private reading space within its form. As a seat height is just above the floor, CAVE gives a feeling of hiding from others standing around it. Books can be stored on both sides. Therefore, CAVE can also functions as a partition of a room.

Sakura Adachi: Cave Pets

Being inspired by CAVE, CAVE_pet’s is a bookcase with an intervention of domestic pet’s (dogs and cats) house. Since animals have difensive behaviour by nature, they tend to stay in corner of a room, hidden space and etc. CAVE_pet’s can provide such a private space to your dog or cat. CAVE_pet’s has bookshelves on one side, and can be placed against a wall. It is more slim and conpact solution than CAVE. Therefore, it can be installed also in a small room.

Cool House, Cool Stuff

I’ve been shopping for lotsa (I mean, LOTSA) furniture for work as we’re building our own studio set for living room, kitchen and bedroom. So, the best place to go for affordable pricing and variety is none other than, IKEA. So I thought, if only we have the money and time, we could be building a really mind-blowing set with these cool designs:

Canasta
B&B Italia CANASTA circular armchair by Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola approached the outdoors starting from the theme of woven patterns-reviving and personalising the concept with a traditional look in mind, but giving it a decisively contemporary look without using too much nostalgic influence.

Sphera Bed
Sphera Bed by Karim Rashid
I love pink. And, yes - this is one hottt pink bed! Obviously, my boy is not gonna approve of this but you know, it would look perfect in my ‘own’ room back home. Nice!

Kiss Love Seat
Ooh, V-day is just around the corner. How about this funky Kiss Love Seat for you and your significant other? I don’t wanna know what business you have got on that couch. But this certainly looks cute!

Well, work is not going to pay for all these. It’s fun to fantasize, you know. TheTisch Asia students will have to work with what I’ve got for ‘em.
