Thanks to Coutorture for featuring Fash-E! in the Blog Shoutout for yesterday’s post on Singapore’s Top Fashion Faux Pas. It’s very encouraging when you know people are reading your blog and taking notice of what you write about. Whooppee! Say Hello to Happy Thursday.

“Rapunsale, Rapunsale
Let down your hair
So I may climb
To bring you something to wear”
OK, Fash-E was at The Loof. The funny thing is, we didn’t stay for the fashion show which we later saw from Raffles Hotel that it looks jaw-droppingly cool in the glass display. However, we did go for the rooftop shopping bazaar - which was fun, but a little crampy due to lack of walking space. The trio (Moe Moe, Reena and yours truly) just strolled around but we didn’t manage to find anything we want. I quite like this dress from Hansel - but it was the sticky, humidity that turned us away (which is why we didn’t come back for the show!). And, we went for Vietnamese food along Seah St (Va Va Voom, if I remember correctly). Now I wish I had tried on the dress - at the very least. Sigh, why this dissonance?
More updates about our whereabouts. Hint: Camwhoring at Raffles Hotel.
I finally managed to convert my Vogue Factory membership to Fash-E on Coutorture. Thanks to Sarah Conley and Julie Fredrickson! And, Fash-E has been selected as a Coutorture Must Read for 4th April 2008. Click on the badge below to read our feature:
Totally fabulous! Do check out the website for all the cool fashion articles - it’s the one-stop place if you don’t have time to surf thousands of blogs.

Fash-E! in ‘ClickPicks: Fashion Blogs‘ (Project Smitten, April ‘08)
This is no April’s Fool joke. Fash-E! is featured in this month’s Project Smitten (one of my new favourite local fashion mag!), thanks guys! I’ve been buying Project Smitten since the 2nd issue, and I’ve to say they do have good shopping and fashion content - definitely Singapore’s answer to Lucky magazine. Today, I bought my copy during lunch and as I flipped through the pages, it was a pleasant surprise for me! (Especially, when I’m cranky during the ‘time of the month’) - so it has been awhile since our last ‘press’ coverage.
Thanks for your support! And, thumbs up to Project Smitten for their great work to keep us all in style.
Kia Ora from New Zealand!
Sorry for the extremely long hiatus. I’ve been away for many many days, enjoying my first, long holiday in years. At this moment, I’m sitting in an Internet Cafe at Hamilton w/o my trusty lappy. I’m thrilled with my NZ shopping and indie-designers “materials” and will be blogging soon when I’m back in Singapore. So, watch out for my posts and peektures! Till then, thanks for checking in!
Extra! Extra! Read all about it!
We’ve got a new member in the ‘house’. Introducing, our favourite male fash-writer - Lawrence Wong! (see new header for peekture) You may think “Ah, now that’s a familiar face”. Our new addition is no stranger to the Singapore media scene. He has acted in ‘Moulmein High‘ and even the popular Channel 8 series, ‘Holland V‘. You see him in regional advertisements across the island.
I’ve had several requests from readers to add a ‘Men’s’ section. Request granted! Our dear Lawrence will be contributing entries related to Menswear, techie gadgets and even funky household gizmos! So stay tune, people.
