Last night, my friends and I hit the cinemas to catch Hellboy II: The Golden Army (like finally!). The movie (to me, at least) was awesome! Hellboy is definitely one of the coolest superheroes around in an unconventional way. He’s not perfect. He’s definitely HOT in a literal sense. His “old crap” and “damn” expressions crack me up. Plus, it’s directed by Guillermo del Toro - how can it suck??

Universal Pictures, Dark Horse Comics and Adidas have teamed up to create two exclusive pairs of shoes based on the upcoming film Hellboy II: The Golden Army. They’re pretty cool actually. If you’re in Singapore, you can sneak a peek at both shoes at the 5th level of The Cathay.

Here it is, in case you can’t find it.

Ooh, fierce.

This is patent and really cool. Only 1,000 pairs - eBay anyone?

Only 5,000 pairs worldwide. What are you waiting for??

I was at Great World City for lunch today and I popped by Dorothy Perkins to look look and see see. And, I saw these black jelly gladiators! According to the shop assistant, they just arrived yesterday. I put them on and I saw the “$29″ price tag - that’s it, I HAD to get them! Plus, I only had 5 min before my cab leaves. It’s a great price, don’t you think?

The minute I got into my office, I had to try them on. Despite my aching body (thanks to pilates!), I lift my stinky feet up so Photo Booth can have a good shot of the side view. Haha, boh liao or should I say, nonsensical! I don’t care if the entire Singapore is wearing Gladiators - mine are good for the rainy season and the beach. YEAH!

Originally, I wanted to get these hot pink jelly gladiators from Shop Intuition. Unfortunately, I couldn’t order them online because they required a U.S. credit card. Bummer. I can’t stop dreaming about ‘em since then but hey, I got mine - wouldn’t it be nice if they were pink?

If you fancy a high ankle-strap jelly gladiator, you might wanna consider Old Navy’s version of it.

If you like all things up-marketing, you may dig this. The Givenchy jelly gladiators were seen on Carine Roitfeld and also voted as Style’s Item of the Week. Jelly is fierce, don’t you think so?

My first reaction when I saw this was “WOAH!” Rihanna was spotted wearing Balenciaga gladiator boots to the BET studios. At her young age, she can pull almost anything and I’m glad she didn’t go OTT with this. Remember to plan your outfit around your “key” item - and Rihanna did it with a chic black number. I love it. Balenciaga really took it to another level.

Forget the Gladiators. This summer, shift your attention to Marc Jacob’s fit flop - a combination of a Gladiator and a flip flop! The latest sandal design is creating the buzz among fashion enthusiasts, and they’re not even in-stores yet. Over 1.2 million fit flops have been sold since last year, the new Aurelia style has a waiting list of thousands.
Are you getting your hands on these yet?

RAINY DAYS ARE BACK!
Today, I wore my Plueys rain boots to work because it was pouring like crazy. I can’t really think of what to wear but all black - because nothing really goes with my polka dot boots. Anyway, I woke up late and I had quite a bad start - considering I left my wallet at home and missed my bus to work. Tough life hurr? Anyway, the Bs are having a meeting and I decided to mess around with Photo Booth (hey, I found a way to camwhore during work!). Do you like my cute Herman Miller aeron chair? Hee, I’m proud of it. My ‘office’ isn’t very glam as this is a temporary work space while upstairs is being renovated!

Talk about Spring fever! The chic & fashionable are going floral, and Nike is jumping on the bandwagon as well. With the blooming buzz, the girls will be jumping on these Nike collaboration with “Liberty Fabric Company” Dunk Highs when they hit the stores on 10th May 2008. Which one do you like?

I like the subtle, tiny violet flowers - but I prefer to make a louder statement.

This is moreee my style! I love cute red/pink poppies-like flowers. Can’t wait to see the real thing.

I’m taking a break from fashion blogging today. Just received grave news from abroad, and I’m really not in the mood. Fash-E’s going to mourn for the day. Be back tomorrow. Anyway, there’s a SALE this weekend
I started playing around with Polyvore again - which let me tell you, it’s highly addictive! I got hooked once and I had to called on a restrain order. Anyway, it’s midweek (yeah!) and I can’t wait for the weekend. I was reading Skip Skip Style and I got inspired by the red patent Dr Martens laceup boots as seen on Agyness Deyn and Daisy Lowe - so I created a look based on it. Here’s what I would wear (if the weather doesn’t kill me beforehand!):

And yes, I’ve a fascination for pigs and fashion.
