That’s it. I’ve to blog about this. I first saw this at Bryanboy and then, Rock.The.Trend. We all know Karl Lagerfeld is one narcissist but this bag, is kinda awesome. Anyone who sees his face is going to know who it is. In a way, it’s kinda gimmicky but I’m sure this would sell very well. I want one!

Weekends are too short. Don’t you think? Anyway, I had a lovely weekend - catching up with Reena on Saturday, and Andrew on Sunday. I tried studying, but my mind was too active - lotsa things happening! It’s hard to concentrate. I felt bad for skipping my cousin’s wedding on Saturday in KL - sigh. I wouldn’t want anyone bailing out on my wedding day! I’ll make it up to her one day. Anyway, I don’t normally glam up during weekends unless I’m going to a party or something. Here’s how I normally look:

I know. Super unglam! That’s me in my Billabong flamingo shirt, Giordano khaki shorts and S.T.A.M.P. watch. I do fancy my boy’s new ZARA shirt with a french bulldog that says “Oui, I’m French!” LOL. Too much effort to play dress up when I don’t even comb my hair!

After a lovely Sunday brunch at Choupinette, Bubster and I popped by Tierney’s Gourmet for our weekly grocery shopping. Yes, join us at our weekend ritual.

BEST DISCOVERY OF THE WEEK: TETLEY! We thought we never find it in Singapore!

I got these cute mini highlighter pens from Paperchase at Borders. Stationary geek!

It was Mid-Autumn Festival yesterday. I celebrated by chomping down two piggies (well, one for me), yum! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, everyone. Fashion-related posts will resume from now on.
As you know, Abigail Lorick has contributed some pretty pieces to Blair’s wardrobe in Gossip Girl. Refinery29 sneaked into the backstage of Lorick’s Summer 2009 Presentation - and it’s nothing you’ve seen before. Half-naked models. Beautiful smashed (with bare hands) cakes. Stolen plants from a lawn. Talk about anti-fashion establishment and a fresh perspective. Otherwise, we’re still loving the clothes by Lorick. You don’t have to make things beautiful all the time.

Look at the mess. Beautiful chaos?

Pick the cake with your fingers.

I’m in love already.

Can’t get enough of GEEK.

Interesting headpiece.

Do not cross the line.

Damage control. Broken chandeliers.

Wow. What a hat.

Waffle Swim Cap with Chin Strap
I LOVE SUMMER. The weather is hot (even though the heat is kinda killing me!), and it’s always fun to hit the pool during this time of the year. Fashion156.com listed the summer’s most wanted and I call it the ’swim swim’ essentials. Are you ready to make a big splash?

I’m a big fan of one-piece swimwear. Live you pinup fantasies with this La Veddette’s Jane polka dot swimsuit which I’m crushing on! Or, get trigger-happy with this quirky camera print swimsuit *snap*snap*

How can you live without the necessary accessories? The sunnies! And, funky shoes! Look ultra-cool with these Karen Walker Deep Freeze sunglasses. I want to get my hands on these sleek black Opening Ceremony shoes.

More hot one-piece suits! Perfect to hide that bulge and add a little mystery to your nekkidness. If only Singapore carries American Apparel Nylon Tricot Bandeau Swimsuit, sigh. Or look innocent in white in this Lover Crochet swimsuit. Are we hitting the pool yet?

Exam’s over! It’s the holidays woohoo! I can’t wait to pack my bags and leave this country. Well, not for another couple of weeks at least. Also, it’s time to shop before the Great Singapore Sale ends. I haven’t been to my usual shopping haunts in ages. People.com has listed some cool trends and are you lovin’ them?

CLEAR SUNGLASSES
Leave last summer’s colored frames behind – Sienna Miller, Kirsten Dunst and Ashlee Simpson take a see-through approach to staying shady.

YELLOW DENIM
Who needs basic blue when you can add so much pop to your denim with sunny yellow? Heidi Montag, Jada Pinkett Smith and Audrina Patridge have already picked up on the bold trend.

FRINGED PURSES
Hollywood channels the Wild West with these bold bags – already seen on the stylish arms of Rachel Bilson, singer Leona Lewis and Heidi Klum.

WHITE MAXIDRESSES
Beat the heat in breezy long dresses in pure white like Eva Longoria, Lauren Conrad and Jessica Simpson. Add on oversized sunglasses and a neutral bag for maximum style points.

JUMPSUITS
Malin Ackerman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rihanna go for one easy piece in their sharply tailored one-piece looks.

WATERCOLOR FLORAL DRESSES
Cameron Diaz, Heidi Montag and Knocked Up’s Leslie Mann take an artistic approach to their spring florals in sweet strapless shapes.
For the love of Marc Jacobs, I’ve always love his fresh, bold ideas that he sent down the runway. I’m no fashion expert but so far, I like what I see. I don’t necessary approve his choice of Victoria Beckham as his muse but let’s focus on the designs, shall we?

Colours That Pop!
Royal purple. Cobalt blue. Super hot pink. I likeee. I love the white sling bad and blue tulip skirt. What do you think about the pink headband/cap - what is that?

Flashy in White
It may be a YSL reference but I’m lovin’ the white designs. The colour is timeless yet so modern at the same time. Marc Jacobs insists we show some toes.

Take a Bow
Are we feelin’ black bows this season? The bow with gold trim belt is ingenious, I love it! However, I’m not such a big fan of the sheer dress (left) - just a little too much don’t you think?

Flowers and Rosettes
We’re seeing more florals. My absolute fave of the resort collection. Electric green ankle boots! An absolute killer. I can imagine Carrie Bradshaw pulling this off.

Ruffle Hearts
So, we’ve seen this on Victoria Beckham at the CFDA Awards. I’ve to saw it’s pretty innovative but I think I’m a fan of the bows.

Dots in B/W
There you have another gladiator with polka dot suit with shorts. Classy don’t you think? High-waisted bottoms are not going anywhere.

Dark and Navy
Feelin’ blue? Because it’s looking very cool in these Marc Jacobs.

Square + Black
It’s time to think out of the box. Black is never boring especially with interesting cuts and silhouettes. We’re feeling big neck pieces and black shades, aren’t we?

Miss Kate Moss’ new Topshop collection is launched today! I’ve to say, her designs have improved since the last season. Her latest range of spring/summer dresses, tops and fun bikinis make you wanna have all the fun under the sun. You can expect to see frilly frocks, romantic floral blouses and cute bikinis - very “in”, if you ask me. Here’s a sneak peek of the collection before you hit the shops!

Ooh, I love this Indian printed dress. Perfect for our hot hot weather!

More florals! I am sooo lovin’ this. But, must see the real thing.

Kate makes blue looks beautiful.

I love short shorts. I wish my thighs are slimmer.

I love this fashion spread of Kate Moss in full bloom, in V Magazine. I’m soo crushing on the black Christopher Kane lace-up heels featured on Kate. She’s totally rocking the whole fluidity of the dresses and capturing the essence of spring. Simply beautiful. Photography by Nick Knight & styling by Jonathan Kaye.

Wild and untamed in Christopher Kane.

Swing out in Yves Saint Laurent.

Standing tall in Roberto Cavalli.
