To be honest, I don’t know much about Jacquetta Wheeler. Her face is incredibly familiar in fashion but I never bother to learn the names of models – generally, I’m just very bad with names. I vowed to learn more about her before Audi Fashion Festival 2009 – it’s time to learn the ABCs of the fashion industry, no? This English model was discovered by famed photographer, Mario Testino at age 17. Her androgynous features captivated the shutterbug and she immediately landed in Paris for a photoshoot for French Vogue. They say, the rest is history. In 1999, The Face magazine declared her the ‘Model of the Millennium’. A bold claim, indeed.

“She is one of the greatest models working today. Her face is like a Roman vase – not a standard beauty , but a modern anti-beauty.” – Karl Lagerfeld

I can’t wait to see her in person tomorrow at the Christian Lacroix Couture Spring/Summer ‘09 opening gala at Tent@Orchard, Ngee Ann City. So exciting! Stay tuned.

Kate Moss go casual-glam by pairing up her emerald green Kate Moss for Topshop maxi with a blue leather jacket. In addition, Kate mixed the look up with silver chandelier earrings and Yves Saint Laurent black platform pumps. I think she looks super hot!

I haven’t had time to catch this week’s episode of GG. I’m sure I’ll find time over the weekend. In the meantime, tell me if this is hawt or not. From Harper’s Bazaar, this editorial totally turned the heat up for Chuck Bass character or Ed Westwick. The lusty Helena Christensen is completely drool-worthy. I wonder if this was inspired by Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore – it seems like the older woman-younger man trend has become acceptably sexy now.

I’m a model, I would like to look like Coco Rocha. Her features are stunning. To me, she’s a major head-turner and I’m a big fan (yes, I confessed!). I like Agyness Deyn for her eccentric style. But I like Coco Rocha for her everything. She looks amazing, don’t you think? That’s why Coco is such a fave in Vogue US – I think I saw her in more than eight editorials. She’s also Fabsugar’s Fab Face of the Year 2008. Coco just started her blog which I blogged about it here. There are many reasons why Coco Rocha rawks my world. You just have to see it yourself:

Neiman Marcus, June 2008

For YSL’s Elle fragrance.

Vogue Italia

The forbidden apple.

Numero

She loves the camera. The camera loves her.

There is …

Blimey! Agent Provocateur strikes again. This time, Helena Christensen stars as a voluptuous ‘Pirate Queen’ in the newest Agent Provocateur video called (no surprises) ‘Pirate Provocateur’. You really have to experience this. According to Telegraph, “Pirate Queen Helena appears in a red lace basque, brandishing a dagger, and succeeds in seducing the captain of the ship who is unaware he is being robbed blind and facing a mutiny” – we totally agree that this is a “swashbuckling way to sell lingerie”.

Aye, who’s the boss now?

Arrrrrrr! Touch me one bit and you’ll walk the plank.

No quarter! Now, fight my knickers.

Yum. Never knew pirates can be so sexxxy. I’m soo gay for this.

Is it me, or this editorial is amazing? Agyness Deyn free falling from the sky for POP magazine’s Fall 2008 issue. Firstly, we have that mysterious photos of Aggy falling naked and now, we see the final product. I’ve to say I’m such a big fan of this work. Where do I get a copy of this mag in Singapore? Basheer?
