I’m not Rachel Zoe’s biggest fan, but I think she has done very well for herself. She has good taste and now, a reality TV show based on her high-flying life of dressing celebrities. Bravo TV is debuting another fashionably delicious TV show, The Rachel Zoe Project on September 8. Right now, you can get a taste of it and watch 21-minutes of fabulosity at Fabsugar. Can’t wait for all the awesome shows lined up this Fall!

Project Runway Season 5 Begins!

Hurray! My weekly Project Runway fashion fix is back for Season 5 - supposedly the most diverse group of the series. Well, they always say that - right? I’m just happy that there’s the Internet if not, I’ll have to wait forever for the season to premiere on Discovery Travel & Living. This week, we see the contestants scurrying through a grocery store with $75 to make something out of anything they buy. So here are the Yays and the Nays of last week’s episode, “Let’s Start from the Beginning”:

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

The Yays

Definitely my top two. I applaud Daniel for melting plastic cups to make that gorgeous blue plastic dress. And Kelli for her amazing creativity for fusing art with fashion.

The picnic party dress may be predictable but I love the results. It’s like a gingham dress. And, who dares to use fresh produce for a dress - great work, Korto! Love the bright yellow color.

I think Kenley’s idea of popping rubber balls to make the bustier is sooo cute. Can you imagine working with that material? And, Terri used the cotton from mop heads and weave them into this hot top.

The Nays

Do I sense psycho killer and diaper-wearing wrestling aunty?

Daniel lift up his plastic cup dress - it has a life of its own!

Blayne thinks he’s the next Christian Siriano. Girlicious, NOT!

A Trippy Pin-up Fantasy

I am a big fan of Weeds. From 10 episodes in Season 1 to 15-episodes Season 3, I’m glad Showtime is adding more screen time for very hot mama, Mary-Louise Parker and her trippy friends. In 2006, MLP beat the ‘Desperate Housewives’ quartet in a shocking Golden Globe win for Best Comedy Actress. Thanks to the audience for legalizing our favourite green herb - it’s not like we get to see this in Singapore, but did we mention we love the Internet? Season 4 starts yesterday and can I say I’m lovin’ these promo pictures of MLP looking smokin’ hot in 50s pin-up.

Starbucks, anyone? I want a body like that at age 40.

Love that red/pink vintage suitcase.

Gossip Girl Season One Finale: Bitter & Sweet

Finally. Gossip Girl first season has come to an end. I can’t believe we’ve to wait till September, Fall till the second season begins. Yikes, what are we going to do in between? Let’s focus on the present and here are the hot, stylish wedding shots from yesterday’s episode:

Serena VS Georgina
Yes, it’s a style showdown. Who’re we loving? The sweet, casual-chic Serena in skinny jeans OR bad-girl biker jacket and dark-coloured Georgina? Because I do not like G, I’m giving the Serena the thumbs up!

Pink and Floral
Blair Waldorf has the cutest clothes and accessories. I think she looks pretty in pink in this spring-lovin’ floral halter trapeze dress. The flower neckline is an on-going trend of the moment (see Serena’s bridesmaid dress below). We’re definitely feeling summer for this GG wedding. Love the headband!

The Lovebirds
Are they’re staying together, or dunzo? I will not spoil it for you but let me just say that both relationships have a bitter-sweet cliffhanger till the next season. Are we loving Lily’s bridal style? I think it is very age-appropriate and I loveee the diamond necklace. Serena’s yellow tiered-chiffon bridesmaid dress paired with black gloves, black belt and a black corsage - simply amazing. I love it.

Who’s The Girl?
The new Mrs Bass, Lily, introduced this mysterious girl as her “decorator”. Is she Chuck’s latest conquest - or not? Anyway, we’re digging the royal blue dress and her white gladiator heels. And, ooh… that bag!

Skinny Headband
I love this heart-print top that Blair is wearing but this isn’t a good picture. We see lotsa tied-up hair with waves and skinny headband. I don’t wanna explain what’s going on in this picture - watch and go figure. Now, I can’t wait for Season Two.

CW’s New Reality TV Show: Stylista

Hot off the press! There’s a hot new reality TV show in town by The CW that is fashionably called, Stylista. Incredibly exciting! As you know Nina Garcia has left Elle magazine for Marie Claire (*yikes*) - and now, look what she’s missing. Brought to you by Tyra Banks, Stylista brings to life the real ‘Devil Wears Prada’ in the Elle office in which eleven fashion enthusiasts battle each other out to win the prized position as assistant to Anne Slowey, Fashion News Editor of Elle.

So why go through the pain and drama? The winner gets a full-time editorial position at Elle, a paid lease on a fabulous apartment in Manhattan (gosh, I want that!) and clothing allowance from H&M - all for one year valued at $100,000. Can’t wait for this show - it sounds crazy already!

Here’s a first look at Stylista. Tell me what you think.

Gossip Girl: Mean and Pretty

I am so happy. Gossip Girl is finally back on track. The past two episodes had been torturous, really. I don’t want GG to turn into another ‘The O.C.’ where every character become so f-up as the plot gets blown out of proportion! Next week is the season finale - hurrah! It has been an awesome season and I can’t wait for more fabulosity and drama.

I hate G. Then again, I like her style. It’s like the bad girl version of ‘Serena’ in terms of style. Dan looks quite hot in that biker jacket - who is giving him fashion tips lately?

Serena’s gold trench coat is gorgeous. Blair looks classic… but doesn’t impress.

Hottest. Dad. Ever. Why bother with Dan when you can have yummy Rufus?

Vanessa never fails to impress with her bohemian-chic style. I love the ethnic print top paired with the animal-print jacket. And, love her accessories!

Miss Lisa Loeb made a special appearance in this episode to introduce Rufus’ band. Her dress is fun and swirly! Do you like it? I think it’s age-appropriate and cheeky at the same time.
