FINALLY! The most anticipated wedding of the year: Tony Leung (arguably, one of the best Asian actors) & Carina Lau have tied the knot in a beautiful, majestic wedding ceremony in the Himalayan nation, Bhutan. You know this has to be fantabulous when you have renowned director, Wong Kar-Wai as your wedding ‘curator’. That is sooo rare to the point that it will never happen again (unless he decided to venture into the bridal business). The wedding photos were released yesterday by Jet Tone Films and I’ve got to say, I teared a little. This is real love.

The happy couple. It’s as though they haven’t age a bit.

Carina Lau in Vera Wang dress. And, ooh I love the five-tier wedding cake! Pretty! She is also wearing her 12-carat Cartier wedding ring, worth over 10 million Hong Kong dollars.

Aww. This photo is amazing!

I read in the Newpaper today that Fann Wong and Christopher Lee might have theirs in the Himalayas! Copy cats!

They had a traditional Buddhist ceremony, as it is the officially recognised in Bhutan. Congrats!!

Finally. Gossip Girl first season has come to an end. I can’t believe we’ve to wait till September, Fall till the second season begins. Yikes, what are we going to do in between? Let’s focus on the present and here are the hot, stylish wedding shots from yesterday’s episode:

Serena VS Georgina
Yes, it’s a style showdown. Who’re we loving? The sweet, casual-chic Serena in skinny jeans OR bad-girl biker jacket and dark-coloured Georgina? Because I do not like G, I’m giving the Serena the thumbs up!

Pink and Floral
Blair Waldorf has the cutest clothes and accessories. I think she looks pretty in pink in this spring-lovin’ floral halter trapeze dress. The flower neckline is an on-going trend of the moment (see Serena’s bridesmaid dress below). We’re definitely feeling summer for this GG wedding. Love the headband!

The Lovebirds
Are they’re staying together, or dunzo? I will not spoil it for you but let me just say that both relationships have a bitter-sweet cliffhanger till the next season. Are we loving Lily’s bridal style? I think it is very age-appropriate and I loveee the diamond necklace. Serena’s yellow tiered-chiffon bridesmaid dress paired with black gloves, black belt and a black corsage - simply amazing. I love it.

Who’s The Girl?
The new Mrs Bass, Lily, introduced this mysterious girl as her “decorator”. Is she Chuck’s latest conquest - or not? Anyway, we’re digging the royal blue dress and her white gladiator heels. And, ooh… that bag!

Skinny Headband
I love this heart-print top that Blair is wearing but this isn’t a good picture. We see lotsa tied-up hair with waves and skinny headband. I don’t wanna explain what’s going on in this picture - watch and go figure. Now, I can’t wait for Season Two.

Kate Moss is not your average bride. Rumours are looming in regards to her September wedding to fiance, Jamie Hince - that didn’t stop the “bride-to-be” from campaigning the ultra-sexy Agent Provocateur’s White Wedding range. The range includes “demi-bras, tasselled nipple ‘pasties’, tulle eye-masks, lacy thongs and baby doll nighties”. Definitely designed to please the man, and to stroke your virginal ego. In addition, Kate was featured in six experimental films entitled, ‘“The Happiest Day of Her Life’, that follows the demise of Moss’s big day, released online at SHOWStudio“. The following wallpapers are available for download at the Agent Provocateur website:

Sophie is playful with its pretty french lace and silky bows.

This sexy corset is named Kate. Will she be wearing this in September?

Katarina is one sexy lingerie. I love the white tulle with cute flowers. Cheeky! Definitely my favourite.

Err… let them eat Kate? Sounds really really ‘wrong’.

Be good, or get spank! Love the cheeky bottom.

Walt Disney Co. is looking to grab a bigger piece of the wedding cake, and feed its burgeoning Princess business, with a new line of character-inspired bridal gowns aimed at women who want to look and feel like Cinderella at the ball on their big day. The Walt Disney Co. has teamed with bridal designer Kirstie Kelly to create a collection of gowns inspired by the favorite Disney princess characters, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Ariel from “The Little Mermaid,” Belle from “Beauty and The Beast” and Jasmine from “Aladdin.”
“We wanted women to feel like they had something in common with these princesses. We had to identify who the princesses are now and who does the everyday girl relate to,” Kelly said. A mood and fashion sensibility was assigned to each princess-themed gown: Cinderella is for the classic glamour bride; Sleeping Beauty is about pretty romance; Snow White is sweet elegance; Ariel is sultry allure; Belle is stylish sophistication; and Jasmine is bohemian chic.
With the Sleeping Beauty castle as a backdrop, this is absolutely charming.
Ahh, a Disney fairy-tale wedding is a dream come true for Disney fans like moi.
