Are you ready for this? Coco Rocha‘s ‘hush-hush’ mermaid wedding gown by Zac Posen is finally revealed to the public. Verdict: Oh So Coco! Gosh, I wish I’m getting married in castle – so I can have a gorgeous, dramatic train! Remember that little preview (2/3 of her “hush-hush” wedding gown) I blogged about in June – well, now we get to see the full picture. Of course, gorgeous as expected! I always love the mermaid silhouette such as Katherine Heigl‘s wedding gown by Oscar de la Renta (Ah, should have been mine!). Congrats again to Coco Rocha and her hubby James Conran!

So, it’s less than six months to my wedding and I’m seriously panicking. Why? Because I haven’t prepare much. And, I have no wedding planner. I need a wedding gown. I need shoes. I need to print invitations. I need to figure out what my wedding theme is. I need wedding bands. I need to research on flowers. I need wedding favours. I need cakes. *breathe in*breathe out* I need money too. Well, I need SPONSORS – anyone?! (there, I said it!) – email me okay? (I wonder whose great idea is it to have two instead of one weddings – double the cost!)
I came across a couple of unconventional wedding bands which made my day. It’s good to think and look outside the box – you might just find hidden treasures like these:

’till death – hauntingly beautiful, isn’t it?

Congrats to one of my fash-icons, Coco Rocha and her husband James Conran on their nuptials! You wouldn’t believe that Coco Rocha is a goof-ball in real-life. 50 ‘lucky’ people attended her super secret wedding in a French castle (how romantic is that!) on June 9th. Her BFF, Behati Prinsloo first spoke about the bride’s Zac Posen wedding gown in Modelinia, “It was tight over her body all the way to her knees, then it had this extreme mermaid tail at the bottom. The straps were off the shoulder, and the material looked vintage – it’s sort of hard to explain, you have to see it”. I can’t wait to see more photos of her wedding. Ooh, this reminds me that I’ve to start planning for my own nuptials *yikes*

Ladies, Daniel Wu is officially off the market (as of April 6)! And yes, he is straight. Congratulations to Daniel Wu and Lisa S, his longtime girlfriend – and now, wife. It was such a beautiful, enchanting wedding that I’ve to blog about it! It is so wonderful to wed secretly in a South African forest. Everything about this wedding is sooo magical. Yes, I’m taking notes. I love how the wedding is so ‘real’ and unpretentious like most celebrities’ weddings. Just a simple exchange of vows and love. Simply beautiful. You’ve done well, Daniel Wu.

Till death do us part: Daniel Wu & Lisa S.

What a happy celebration – I would be thrilled to have a wedding like that!

Lisa S looks super gorgeous and gosh, I love the flowers!

SUNDAY. The only day of the week I dedicated myself to planning my own wedding. To be honest, I just started. At this point of time, I have nothing but daydreams. I bought bridal magazines. I tentatively set two dates (New Zealand & Malaysia). I asked for venue availability. I asked for quotations. Most importantly, I am seeking inspiration. I don’t have a big budget to blow (so, it’s goodbye Oscar de la Renta *sad face*) and I have no wedding planner. Since it’s not a ‘guy’ thing to plan, I’m doing most of it because I’m the bridezilla. Oh yeah, I can be. Right now, here’s something to inspire me and all the brides-to-be out there:

most adorable save-the-date ever.

i want a short veil. maybe with feathers. not a bird.

short is hot.

this invitation card makes me HUNGRY.

Vintage inspiration? Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks took the cue.
Till tomorrow, I can’t wait for my big day already *beams*

Singapore’s Caldecott Princess, Fann Wong and her long-time partner, Christopher Lee finally walked down the aisle in the biggest wedding of the year. Well, at least for this part of the world. Yes, the estimated $5 million wedding! Their wedding was broadcasted ‘live’ on Channel 8 at 8pm as part of their reality TV series called, “The Wedding” (doh). Check out the official site for “The Wedding” – no kidding. This is probably the most anticipated wedding since Tony Leung tied the knot with Carina Lau. The wedding bash was held in Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore and 900 lucky guests were invited. According to CNA, Fann Wong was “resplendent in her Bollywood-inspired gown worth S$300,000, while the groom was suited up by Italian label Ermenegildo Zegna“. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find high-res images online (since the news is still ‘hot’) – but it’s always a pleasure to share happy wedding photos from earlier. Let’s toast to the happiest couple of 29 September 2009

Congratulations, Fann & Christopher!

Fancy Rolls Royce, hurr.

Time to get tortured!

The “sisters” – lookin’ chic, ladies!

Vera Wang! Wait till I get hold of her bollywood bejewelled gown by Bally.
My obsession with one-shoulder dresses begins at a recent friend’s wedding.

Dress from Glassons (NZ), Bow clutch from Nine West.

Pink one-shoulder dress from ZARA.
It’s February! Love is definitely in the air. I was delighted to see J. Crew‘s new wedding line and campaign looking young, fresh, modern and incredibly lovely! Forget designer dresses, and save your $$$ for a good honeymoon. J. Crew got alot of press recently – thanks to Mrs. O. If it is good enough for the First Lady, it is good enough for you! Enjoy the lovely campaign:
