There was a huge celebration for Obama’s win at work today. People were cheering, crying, hugging - I was totally happy for my American colleagues and friends even though the election results doesn’t really concern me. Well, I work at NYU - it’s an American university! Free lunch for everybody (prolly the most relevant part of the victory celebration for me, haha) - whatever makes the President happy (I mean, our school’s President). Anyway, I finally got around to watch The CW’s Stylista which I blogged about it here. I’ve to say, it was an utter disappointment. I had quite a high expectation for this show but it failed to capture my attention for the slightest bit. The contestants are more annoying than lovable. Anne Slowey… has no charm at all - in fact, she’s kinda boring, and not mean enough. I managed to catch two episodes before closing the chapter. If you’re interested, you can watch it here.

The U.S. Presidential Election results are flowing in. Fash-E is showing her support for the Democratic Party, Mr. Obama. Yes, I’ve said it. Yesterday I was like, “I don’t care who wins, seriously but please don’t repeat a Bush fire” but today, I hope America decides smartly. Iconoclastic is dressing up as Michelle Obama today to show her support. I actually wore pearls today too, not intentionally - but just so ‘happen’. According to Daily Mail, her style has been likened to Cherie Blair and Jackie Kennedy. She also ” owns an impressive collection of diamond jewellery, designer outfits and £400-a-pair Jimmy Choo shoes”. Now, who’s griping about Sarah Palin’s $150,000 wardrobe budget? Politicians gotta look good too! Michelle Obama even has a website dedicated to stalking her style on Mrs. O Outfits. Let’s see what it takes to dress for success:

Blimey! Agent Provocateur strikes again. This time, Helena Christensen stars as a voluptuous ‘Pirate Queen’ in the newest Agent Provocateur video called (no surprises) ‘Pirate Provocateur’. You really have to experience this. According to Telegraph, “Pirate Queen Helena appears in a red lace basque, brandishing a dagger, and succeeds in seducing the captain of the ship who is unaware he is being robbed blind and facing a mutiny” - we totally agree that this is a “swashbuckling way to sell lingerie”.

Today, I’m kinda bed-ridden with my laptop at home - the stomach is really killing me. I’m hugging my hot water bottle and sipping green tea. Bubster is bringing me lunch - I hate feeling sick. Ugh, my first MC in a long long time. I’m not seeing any doctor!! So, more reason for me to stay in bed and catch up on TV. Hee. Anyway, let’s see some fashion fun:

If you like fashion, you’re gonna enjoy watching The Rachel Zoe Project. I just watched two episodes and I’m already lovin’ it. Her Styling Associate, Taylor has awesome style and the greenhorn, Brad is your typical, preppy gay fashionista. There’s the drama, shopping addiction, heaps of designer everything and dosage of celebs. At least I think I learn a thing or two about fashion, you know. Here are the snapshots from episode 1:

I missed the launch party. I figured since I’m catching the 3pm Avenue Q show, I wouldn’t be able to make it to the party. So, I popped by Bianca (44 Haji Lane) at 9pm after dinner with dad. Yesterday was one hectic, mad day. I had to run multiple errands - bank, school (Fees! Not funny, I’m a few Ks broke now), laundry and dinner with dad. I caught the matinee show for Avenue Q.
