The cat is out of the bag!

Yes, the secret is out. A month ago, we met Bryanboy who’s in Singapore for a highly confidential photoshoot. Now, we all know it’s for Singapore’s Style: Magazine (December 2008). I haven’t got my hands on it yet but I’ll go hunt it down this evening. Thanks to Carlos from Vogueite for the heads up! BB seems to be ecstatic about it when I conversed with him via our Facebook’s walls. 10-pages of fashion glory! I’m utterly jealous - when am I going to be featured in a magazine? The narcissist is speaking. Enjoy the spread and go buy yourself a copy, cheapskate!

Lights, Camera, Action! Fashion Video Bloggers

You’ve gotta admit it. Video blogging seems to be the “IN” thing nowadays. The Youtube phenomenon might seem so ‘yesterday’ but fashion bloggers are taking their blogging skills to the next level - DIY videos uploaded on the web. You can not only read, look at outfit photos but watch your favourite bloggers talk to you “face-to-face”. I think it’s awesome that you get to see, hear bloggers ‘live’ in action - and yes, we wanna hear your accent! Here are some videos that Fash-E spotted in the fashion cyberspace:

Bryanboy’s Faggotry in Motion series is one of my favourites. This is a video of his Style: Magazine photoshoot in Singapore. Picture may speak a thousand words, but video says more!

Susie Bubble of Style Bubble reviewed Buck magazine with her boyfriend. Really cute video! You should really check this out. Well-executed as well. The english accent’s so sexy.

Camille from Childhood Flames uploaded this interesting tutorial on how to make your own shredded tee. Rumi from Fashion Toast even modeled a shredded tee she made based on this tutorial! I’ve yet to try it.

Models are also making their mark on Youtube. Chanel Iman made five short clips for Chanel Iman TV to give you a glimpse of her modeling life. In this video, she does a little makeover for her mum. Watch!

Back to the lil’ red dot, our local fash-blogger, Nicole from Cherry Magazine has her own series of Cherry Magazine TV. She’s so cute! I like her enthusiasm and effort in putting together her own photoshoot, videos and all. Bravo!

So, am I starting a Fash-Eccentric TV? Watch this space.

Video Blog: Bryan Boy Partying in Singapore!

I know, I know - this is like yesterday’s news. You’ve seen our pictures. Now let me entice your with exclusive some videos I took during our fashion bloggers night out with Bryan Boy. I was a little intoxicated, and you’ll probably hear nonsense from yours truly. Who cares? This is entertaining!

“The Lesbian Club”

We found ourselves in this gay club called ‘Play’, and it turned out to be lesbian night! Hilarious! Then again, we didn’t pay for the entrance because it was almost 4am. Janet Jackson (eww) playing in the background.

“Gay Bar Hopping”

You will wanna hear what BB has to say about his “most embarassing moment” - no censorship, baby! Don’t worry it’s harmless. We were just walking aimlessly around Neil Road, and Duxton Road area.

“The Cockroach”

After a short stint in Play, we walked out into this crazy alley way where all the lesbians were smoking. BB posed next to a gigantic garbage container with special appearances of a cockroach! Enjoy. Till November.

I was hung over, and stoned from the night before. We promised to meet up for lunch before Bryan Boy leaves for the airport *sobs* It was 12:30pm and we gathered at our meeting spot: Coffee Bean, Wheelock Place before heading down to Hua Yi Kitchen, my lil’ food haunt. We were all kinda tired but elated. Unfortunately, the boys didn’t manage to join us and I bumped into Andrew who joined us for lunch.

Yummy food, and good company.

Australian Fashion Week Loves Bloggers

The Age reported, “THERE was a time when fashion’s front row was strictly reserved for powerful fashion editors, the world’s most influential fashion buyers and headline-grabbing famous faces, but at Australian Fashion Week a new breed of fashion power broker joined the A row — bloggers.” No doubt, fashion bloggers can play ‘Anna Wintour‘ in their own game, and reach out to even more readers than Vogue magazine.

Elite bloggers such as Bryanboy, Matthew Jordan from Imelda and etc. were invited to lovely Sydney to report the event from front row seats. Talk about getting up-close and personal with models, designers and who’s who in the fashion biz in Down Under! And, collecting yummy goodie bags.

The question is: When are Singapore Fashion Bloggers getting similar recognition? Well, give us tickets to the premiere of Sex and the City movie at least! LOL.
