F1 Rocks! Day Three: Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas

It’s the final day of F1 Rocks! The biggest acts of the series: Beyonce and The Black Eyed Peas (besides, No Doubt - the most awesome act). I heard that 1,000 people could not get into the venue because the organizers oversold the tickets. Well, not sure how accurate that is – that’s according to what I read on Twitter! At one point, I was trying to learn Beyonce‘s ‘Single Ladies’ dance moves, haha just for the heck of it. I can’t do the whole music, butt coordination thing. Let’s hope F1 Rocks! next year brings a bigger lineup.

It has been awhile since I posted an entry for my Look Book. I don’t have a photographer boyfriend or a tripod, so too bad! I love going to gigs – but I don’t understand why girls wear high heels to Fort Canning Park! I mean, partying on the grass with your dainty heels? You must be kidding me. I opted for sandals or sneakers (to avoid my toes being stomped on). These girls need to be educated on gig outfit – seriously. I’m watching the race as I blog. 61 laps. Go Jenson Button!

F1 Rocks! Day Two: No Doubt, ZZTop, N.E.R.D

F1 Rocks! was A.W.E.S.O.M.E

I had such a blast last night with No Doubt, ZZTop, N.E.R.D and Simple Minds (even though I don’t listen to their music!). The stage was magnificent – probably the biggest stage constructed at Fort Canning Park. For once, it’s a proper stage with giant screens and backdrop visuals. The amps were pounding despite the complaints from day one. I was super excited about No Doubt (they’re the only act that I was dying to see!). Gwen Stefani has rock-hard abs! I want ‘em! Even ZZTop didn’t disappoint! I never seen so many angmoh aunties headbanging and whistling. An amazing sight! I was up on my feet (removed my shoes too!) and jumping. I love gigs. I’m not a Formula One fan – but thank you for the parties and music!

F1 Rocks! Day One: Jacky Cheung & A-Mei

F1 Rocks! kicked start yesterday with Cantopop King, Jacky Cheung and Taiwanese popstar, A-Mei. Other acts included Da Mouth and Sodagreen. I wasn’t there yesterday but I’ll be there tonight! Let’s check out the photos from yesterday’s gig – looks like alot of fun even though I’m not a big Canto/Mando-pop fan.

In case you haven’t heard, LG will be giving out 200 FREE tickets to the Saturday’s gig feat. Beyonce and Black Eyed Peas which is arguably the biggest night of the F1 Rocks! series. Head down to Vivocity tomorrow as the tickets will be handed out on a first-come-first-served basis. Good luck!

Do you wanna see what goes behind the scenes of one of the biggest shows in Singapore? Yes, I’m talking about F1 Rocks! Fash-E was invited by the good people from Singapore Tourism Board and 24seven to check out the backstage of the hottest show in town. Did you hear that Lindsay Lohan will be hosting the 3-day event? Exciting stuff! It’ll be great to see Samantha Ronson and the other celebrities in the crowd. I can’t wait for Friday – it’s gonna be awesome. GWEN STEFANI, I LOVE YOU!
