Ladies, don’t you love the occasional chick flick? It’s my secret indulgence although I hate to admit it. This not going to get an Oscar nod but it should being alot of laughs and fun. Bride Wars (starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway) tells the story about two best friends turned bridezillas who fight for their perfect wedding. I can’t wait to see bridal fashion. No wedding bells for me, but I like being nosy and you know, plan ahead. There should be great ideas from Bride Wars‘ costume designer Karen Patch who created the looks behind the characters. I’m sure Bride Wars will be nice and fluffy.

Liv (Kate Hudsun) in Marchesa. Emma (Anne Hathaway) in J. Crew.

Ooh, sweetheart dress. Custom-made by Vera Wang.

This is for the romantics. Who else, but Vera Wang.

Liv in Burberry trench. Love the green Vera Wang trench.

Emma in Hugo Boss jacket. Liv in Dolce & Gabbana.

Play this cute Bride Wars game! Punched out your competition. Highly addictive!
Bride Wars opens in Singapore on 29 Jan 2009.
Here, Fash-E likes to keep a lookout for celebrity styles and of course, models. We dig their quirky, random yet effortless style – and we seek inspiration from these lovely creatures who live and breathe fashion on a daily basis. Now, does the name Anouck Lepére ring a bell? She’s the face of Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein. You may have known her from her greatest accessory, Jefferson Hack – Kate Moss’ baby daddy. Her friends include Dries van Noten and Olivier Theyskens who encouraged her to pursue modeling and ditch her architecture studies. Here’s a flash of her star style over the years:

I want red stockings!

Lookin’ sultry in this magazine editorial.

Anouck always looks relax and well-styled.

This Belgian beauty lives a glamorous life. Who wants to be a model?

With her fiance, the duo are hardly seen appearing in public apart.

This fashionable couple can look casual-cool and sophisticated too.

I started playing around with Polyvore again – which let me tell you, it’s highly addictive! I got hooked once and I had to called on a restrain order. Anyway, it’s midweek (yeah!) and I can’t wait for the weekend. I was reading Skip Skip Style and I got inspired by the red patent Dr Martens laceup boots as seen on Agyness Deyn and Daisy Lowe – so I created a look based on it. Here’s what I would wear (if the weather doesn’t kill me beforehand!):

And yes, I’ve a fascination for pigs and fashion.
