SFF08: cK Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2008

It’s a wrap at this year’s Singapore Fashion Festival. So far, we’ve seen a range of minimalistic designs from Qiu Hao, and Thomas Wee. And now, cK’s Creative Director, Kevin Carrigan. The cK Calvin Klein’s Spring/Summer 2008 collection played with minimalism and simplicity. The colours are soft, “light tones of gray, taupe, pink, orange & blue (plus) plenty of white & champagne tones”. Scroll down and feast your eyes on what you’ve missed at yesterday’s show:

Bright Lights
There is so much to love about the fluidity of the fabric, and illuminating colours. As the models walked down, the pieces flow so beautifully, and seamlessly down the runway - you couldn’t help but gawk and fall in love with Kevin’s work.

Chic & Short
cK
is all about the everyday woman. It’s chic, sophisticated and wearable for the urban fashionista. I particularly love these two tube dresses, especially the one in grey hue, and strappy heels.

Pretty in Pink
I love pink - but not excessively. This is an excellent example for the usage of such a bold colour, for a simple design. Clean lines, which I totally love.

Black Dress, Bright Shoes
Oh yes, I heart those strappy shoes! Another innovative lil’ black dress which I can’t get enough of. This season redefined the classic black dress for spring/summer - just add a splash of colours to your feet and you’re ready for summer.

Sparkle ‘n’ Dazzle
These cute dresses definitely jazz up the evening! I love the babydolls even though the sparkling effect might prove to be too much for some.

Gorgeous Grey
There is something elegant and unique about cK’s separates. I particularly love the off-shoulder grey piece that exudes a certain confidence through its design.

Not Your Average Black Number
Yes, more black dresses. I think I’m going through a phase! To be honest, I don’t think I owned the perfect lil’ black dress. I’m going to start my lil’ black dress collection and nobody can stop me!

Hint: I finished my examsss! *skips around in pink bunnie slippers* It’s freedom for the next 3 weeks.
