Bestest TV Style: Week [29 Sept - 3 Oct]

Update: So, BB has yet to reply my email or sms. I guess he is either busy or just couldn’t be bothered. I don’t know. Well, that’s all for now.

We’re back for another week of Bestest TV Style. The best of fashion from my favourite TV shows, of course. Let’s just say Gossip Girl totally rocked the house last week with one of the biggest episodes ever with guest appearances such as Michael Kors (reportedly a big fan of the show) and socialite Tinsley Mortimer in her second appearance in the show. Lipstick Jungle introduced a hot new guy for my favourite character, Victory Ford. Let’s hope this goes somewhere! 90210 is still the same – nothing too exciting but clothes still look good. Project Runway S5 is heading to Bryant Park very soon. This is one emotional episode and a good one too. Can’t wait for what’s in store this week!

The little Hilton sister, Nicky Hilton‘s ‘Nicholai’ Fall 2008 fashion show captured alot of attention at the Mercedes-Benz 2008 LA Fashion Week – but kinda for the wrong reasons. Yes, eyes were on Paris Hilton and Benji Madden who ‘almost’ stole Nicky’s center stage. More importantly, how did Nicky fare as a designer? I think she has ‘some’ substance ;) I like the black/white striped cardigan that is commercial and very wearable.

Nicky said in an interview with Fabsugar, “The inspiration this season was equestrian, but I wanted to make it a naughty and nice. It was equestrian meets bondage and S&M, hence the latex leggings, patent leather buckles, and the whip. I wanted it to be sophisticated, tasteful, and edgy at the same time.” Her collection teases the essence of “schoolgirl” naughty and yet, pretty classy. She didn’t do too bad, since her ‘Chick‘ collection last Spring.

YES, the hottest thermal wear today – I’ll bring you Primp, baby. As seen on many celebrities such as Mischa Barton, Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson, Lindsay Lohan and even Miss Jessica Simpson. However, Primp is not available here in Singapore but you can of course buy them off eBay, Yahoo! Auction or other authorised online sites such as Karmaloop.

This Spring 2006 range of thermal wear comes in various prints such as bunnies, ponies and anchor. I got the pink bunnie one as seen on Paris Hilton (no celeb-worshipping here) because I couldn’t find the ponie one. Well, bunnies are cute anyway and evil too (Think Happy Tree Friends). It’s perfect for freezing lecture halls and offices. You can find Primp locally at Conversation Pieces but they only carry the old range.
