The Night Festival at the Singapore National Museum started about two weekends ago. Studio Festi from Italy will take to the sky in this specially designed display of light and aerial acrobatic routines. My dad was in town that weekend, so Bubster and I took him to watch a ‘free’ show. The crowd was HUGE but it was worth it. As you can see, I was standing quite far away as well. Here are some snapshots I took (not fantastic though):

Ooh, spinning in a glass?

Every morning I walk past the National Museum of Singapore to catch my bus to work. I finally got around to see Stylish Thirties: Interpreting Women’s Fashion in 1930s Singapore exhibition organized by Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in conjunction with the celebration of the institution’s 70th anniversary. These gowns are specially designed by their fashion studies students by drawing inspiration from the local fashion scene in the 30s. I’ve to say, I was impressed by the detailed works of the students. This is a photo-heavy post, check out the modern interpretation of the fashionable era:

Definitely, my favourite. Classy, stylish and intricate.

Haha, I don’t have designated photographer to take photos of “what I wore today” - any volunteers? So, I’ve to D-I-Y everything. Maybe I should take cue from Rumi and use a portable tripod. Now, where do I start?
